Hello my lovely readers! Today’s blog is all about: A Modern English Cottage Collaboration just in time for Summer!

It’s always such a joy collaborating with Laura from LG Home & Lifestyle, and I’m so excited to be sharing our latest design adventure with you. If you’ve been here a while, you might remember our first blog together last fall, How to Style a Timeless & Elegant Nursery. Well, we’re back at it—with two new spaces that feel like they’ve been pulled straight from an English countryside magazine.

This time around, we leaned into all things soft, floral, and inviting, using two of my wallpaper designs as a jumping-off point. You might recognize these wallpaper designs from the Today Show! Preston Konrad spotlighted both designs during his “Decor Dilemmas” segment on Jenna & Friends, featuring Funky Paper Co.'s amazing wallpaper. Such a surreal moment—and even more special to see them reimagined in Laura’s beautiful designs. She worked her magic and created mood boards that perfectly balance cottage charm with refined, lived-in beauty.

The Charming English Cottage Powder Bath

English Cottage Powder Bathroom Mood Board

There’s something so charming about a statement powder room, right? It’s a tiny space that offers a big opportunity to play—and that’s exactly what Laura did. For this room, she used my Julieta Floral wallpaper in Green as the centrepiece. This print is inspired by traditional block printing and blooming wildflowers silhouettes—it’s soft and nostalgic, but still makes a statement.

She brought in muted sage tones, creamy whites, and a mix of textures to keep things grounded and inviting. The shell chandelier and navy vanity give the room depth, while the brass lighting adds just the right amount of sparkle. It’s the kind of space that feels thoughtful, cozy, and oh-so-pretty.

The Serene English Cottage Master Bedroom

English Cottage Bedroom Mood Board

Okay, let’s move into the bedroom. This mood board makes me want to curl up with a good book and a cup of tea. Laura started with my Tulip Vines – Cream wallpaper, which has these beautifully loose florals that feel romantic and grounded all at once.

She layered soft blues, warm neutrals, and crisp whites to create a palette that feels fresh and calming. I love how she combined a striped upholstered bed with frilly pillows and a cozy reading chair—such a lovely mix of tailored and relaxed. The wood beams and brass sconces bring in that English countryside warmth, while keeping things timeless.
